  • Please write your last name, first name,
    homeroom, and telephone number.

  • Graduation Requirements
  • 25.5 credits are required for graduation
  • 4 credits of Science
  • 4 credits Social Studies (including economics and
    western civ)
  • 4 credits of English
  • 4 credits of Math
  • 4 semesters of Physical Education
  • Computer Based Applications, Drivers Theory,
    Personal Wellness and Speech
  • Each students must schedule at least 6 credits,
    and a physical education class each year.
  • You are encouraged to carry 7 credits

  • Honors courses for students who are planning on
    attending a four year college or university and
    are looking for a rigorous course load.
  • Prerequisites for Honors Courses
  • A final grade of a B or better in the previous
    honors course
  • A final grade of an A or better in previous
    academic course
  • Teacher Recommendation

Appeal Procedure
  • Students may initiate an appeal if they prefer
    to enroll in an honors course but have failed to
    meet the prerequisites.
  • The appeal must be submitted in writing by
    completing an Appeal Form,signed by the student
    and parent, and submitted to the guidance
    counselor.

Scheduling On-Line
  • Go to https//powerschool.pt-sd.org/public and
    use your student login and password.
  • Then click on the Class Registration icon on the
    top row
  • Before submitting your schedule selections,
    please review each category to ensure all
    sections have been completed and at least 6.25
    credits have been selected. If the on-line form
    is incomplete after submitting, the program will
    require you to start all over with your
    selections.
  • Either type the number(s) of your chosen courses
    in the text box--one choice per line. Type the
    numbers exactly as shown, including the leading
    zero or you may use the drop down box if
    available.

Scheduling On-Line
  • Print the Future Course Requests screen in
    "Landscape" after submitting and have your
    parents sign and date the screen. Please return
    your sheet to guidance by February 22nd.
  • Print an additional copy for your records.
