SMVS Story so far.. 2003-2004 - Centers run
in Kacchiyan Purva and Harijan Basti of
Banda Distt. - Both centers have been withdrawn,
since the opening of Govt. schools. - Centers
opened in Bharatpur and Khairahan
villages. 2004-2005 - Centre opened in Kabra
Purwa. (boys and girls) - Put pressure on
authorities for propoer functioning of Govt.
school in Bharatpur. This centre will be
withdrawn in April 2006, since the Govt. school
is functioning properly now.

SMVS present status - Currently 3 centers are
running. 1 will be discontinued in April
06. - Sewing classes started in Bharatpur on
community demand - Organized health
workshop to spread awareness about health
and hygeine - Working on women issues in the
area, providing legal and moral support
