  2,000 years. During this time, it has experienced
  plague epidemic, devastating fire, civil war,
  aerial bombardment and terrorist attacks.

• During the 12th century reign of Norman kings
  William the Congueror was the first to come in
  1066 the royal court moved from Winchester, the
  former capital, to London for ever.

• Sir Christopher Wren
• was appointed the main architect and he
  constructed about 50 churches and some other
  public building, including his masterpiece
• St. Pauls Cathedral.
