- PPW is a certified WBE and has been recognized in
the Working Women 500 and in the top 25 women
owned businesses in Los Angeles, California - The company was incorporated by Patricia K. Ryan
in 1981, after a career in the Hotel business - PPW exclusively does corporate events,
specializing in the sports and entertainment
industry - PPW began working with the NFL in 1983, the year
of the first NFL Tailgate - PPW co-conceptualized and produced the first NFL
Experience for Minneapolis in 1992, which has
been attended by almost 1.4 million people since
its inception
4How To Get Involved
- Register with the Host Committee in their
Emerging Business Guide. - Review the published ITB Send Out Dates for
all Disciplines on May 1, 2009 with the Host
Committee. - Bids will begin on June 1, 2009
- Every business listed in the Emerging Business
Resource Guide, in categories we bid out, will be
given the opportunity to bid if listed in the
guide by the date bids are sent out - Complete and provide the documentation for all
requirements as outlined by the Host Committee. - We work closely with the Host Committee to
ensure they know the types of services we will
need - Make sure all your licenses, certificates and
certifications are up to date and current
5What PPW looks for in Choosing a Company
- You must be the primary source for services for
any categories you are registered for in the
Emerging - Business Resource Guide (i.e. if you are
listed as a caterer, you must prepare and cook
the food yourself) - You have proper and up-to-date General
Liability and Workers Compensation Insurance - You will need to represent yourself in a
consistent manner, as your quality of service and
equipment - is extremely important (i.e. if you include a
photo of a new chair, please confirm that the
quantity being - requested of that chair will ALL be new).
Please include photos of equipment. We may ask
to view - inventory, if deemed necessary
- You will be required to submit qualified
references and photos of similar event
experience. Please contact your references prior
to submitting to ensure they are aware that you
are including them, as we will call.
