  • March 2007 Superintendent appoints committee to
    recommend new boundaries
  • 16 members
  • 2 parents from each elementary and middle school,
    plus 2 alternates
  • Superintendent sets criteria for committee
  • to consider

  • The new boundary
  • Can be sustained for at least five years given
    projected growth, attendance patterns and school
    capacity.
  • Supports existing neighborhood boundaries.
  • Supports socioeconomic balance of district
  • as a whole.
  • Supports needs of district as a whole.
