  • Pincey Valley grew out of our need to find
    larger landscape scale projects
  • We identified several potential landscape scale
    projects and have progressed this one

    England on a non SSSI site
  • EA funded, planned and undertook ground works
  • EBP sourced funding partner and will manage HLS
    delivery with landowner
  • Massive wildlife, landscape and public benefit

  • Essex County Council, Essex Wildlife Trust and

    businesses funding to deliver a successful
    project meeting county, regional and national
    objectives

    achieve this

What EBP does
  • Take forward the Essex Biodiversity Action Plan
    (EBAP)
  • We offer a complete biodiversity service aimed
    primarily at local authorities, parish councils
    and community groups, but where there are wider
    benefits we include businesses and private
    landowners
  • Deliver benefits for wildlife and people
    throughout Essex

    but lots of sites need our input huge amount of
    enthusiasm in Essex to get things done
  • Two staff with 17 years joint experience of
    conservation work in Essex
  • Have a budget of 20K annually to spend on
    projects and match fund partners
  • Great network we can draw on the expertise and
    resources of the organisations in the steering
    group and the partnership
