Application to the PDR

• Framework used to
• Provide a scaffold for the development of the
  academic portfolio
• Provide a guide for the supervisor in reviewing
  teaching
• Provide a common language and understanding on
  what constitutes quality teaching
• Framework is longitudinal and focused on
  development
• Staff use the framework to build a Portfolio over
  their career at UWA
• Portfolio used to inform multiple purposes. Eg
  PDR, Promotion etc
• PDR process highlights aspects drawn from the
  portfolio and assists in identifying development
  directions and needs
• Further development workshops will be offered by
  CATL
