  • Working to improve access, improve health
    outcomes, and eliminate health disparities for
    underserved populations.
  • Federally Qualified Health Centers

Title V of the SSA Maternal and Child Health
Program
  • Title V requires State MCH programs to coordinate
    with Medicaid
  • (e.g. EPSDT, services for pregnant women, infants
    and children, CSHCN)
  • Medicaid/Maternal and Child Health Technical
    Advisory Group (TAG) established a few years ago
  • Although Medicaid may not be required to do so,
    coordination with Title V MCH Directors could
    support enrollee access to care.

Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program
  • Third largest source for Federal funding of
    health care for low-income, uninsured, and
    underinsured Americans living with HIV/AIDS
    (after Medicaid and Medicare).
