A Note To Users
We are all aware of the shrinking number of young
people who are interested in science and
technology careers. This comes at a time when we
face greater challenges the need to fix our
deteriorated infrastructure while at the same
time developing more sustainable solutions. For
several years, I have been participating in my
local Albany High School Career Day,
representing engineering in general, but
focusing on civil engineering. This has been such
a rewarding experience, Im now on a mission to
encourage my peers to adopt a high school and
get involved by growing engineers through Career
Day presentations. To encourage your
participation, I have converted my PowerPoint
slides to a template that you can modify,
personalize, and deliver with minimal effort. If
you view as notes page youll see some
background comments.
