  • Assessment is by traditional written papers along
    with another ISA (best mark out of three)

  • This course meets the needs of students who wish
    to develop their scientific understanding through
    authentic, work-related contexts. The course
    focuses on procedural and technical knowledge
    that underpins the work of practitioners of
    science and gives students an insight into what
    is involved in being a practitioner of science.

  • Students will receive a choices form and take it
    home for signature by parents.
  • This must be returned before the end of term ( by
    Friday 15th May please)
  • Some flexibility to allow changes at a later
    date, but this cannot be guaranteed
  • Once the course has started, after the next set
    of modules on June 22nd, it will not be possible
    to transfer between options
