Introduction Vapor-grown carbon nanofibers
(CNF), known as Pyrograf-III and produced by
Pyrograf Products, Inc. (PPI) are used for a
variety of electrical, mechanical and thermal
applications. The Pyrograf-III carbon nanofiber
is a multi-functional property enhancer for
thermoplastic, thermoset, and elastomeric
materials. Pyrograf-III is a low cost carbon
nanofiber with low levels of iron and tailorable
surface properties. Quality assurance is
achieved through control of the process and
product.
