- In the afternoon we travelled to the Victorian
museum in Hitchin.

- We unpacked two christmas stockings from the time
and saw how differently they would be depending
on whether you were rich or poor.

- We have been investigating light and shadows.
- We wanted to find out how to make shadows bigger
and smaller. - We used a rocket, a torch and some card to
experiment what would happen.

39Then we used a light source to make a shadow.
40We began to measure the size of the shadow.
