Plans as reported at the last meeting Dec. 2001

• Finalize and gain consensus on CMI and PAPI terms
  by February, 2002.
• New Draft posted for WG ballot by mid or end of
  February, 2002.
• Perform WG ballot in March or April.
• Deadline for changes or new definitions set
  Friday, 16, February, 2002

Status as of February 2002 CMI

• CMI WG - 2 documents are in work Data Model and
  API.
• The terms submitted from API only. Couple of new,
  LMS is defined differently
• Data model terms were not submitted.
  Clarification of changes is necessary

CMI WG terms proposal

• Clarify what CMI-specific terms are no longer
  used (as block) and delete them from the
  Glossary
• Publish new terms (as API object, DOM) on the
  reflector for discussion
• Discuss 2 definitions of LMS (current and CMI)
• 3 weeks

Consensus required

• Is it valuable to publish intermediate draft (WD
  3.1) and continue work on WD 4.0 to reflect CMI
  terms changes ?

PAPI SHI terms

• WG2 and WG13 decided to forward current documents
  to JTC1 SC36
• The terms are data-related, not WG-specific, some
  are used others may be used in the LTSC standards
• Consensus required on further actions related to
  the terms (see options on the next slide)

PAPI SHI terms options

• Keep all data-related terms originated from
  PAPI/SHI if their definitions were already
  discussed and approved
• Continue discussion OR ignore terms which
  definitions are not mature enough
• Delete all terms that are not in current
  documents from current version of the Glossary

Glossary proposal

• Finish necessary CMI/PAPI/SHI terms clarification
  4 weeks
• Publish WD 4 (probably 3.1 too) - early April
• Ballot WD 4.0 - end of April
• (which keeps us almost in schedule and separates
  from LOM and LTSA sponsor ballot taking place
  right now)

• Consider Glossary session in May in Kiev,
  co-located with the proposed meeting of SC36 WG1
  (Vocabulary)
• Consider assistance to the technical editor (J.
  Tonkel) due to the LTSA ballot
