University of Illinois Online

• Over 25,000 online enrollments during the 2003-04
  academic year
• The U of I Online catalog now lists 60 different
  online certificate and degree programs and 432
  different online courses.

University of Illinois at Springfield

• In the Spring 2004 semester at UIS
• 31 of the students took at least one online
  course (about 1 in 3)
• 17 of the students (about 1 in 6) took online
  courses exclusively
• 18 of all course credits were generated by
  online courses
• The online course enrollments (numbering 1996)
  were 40 greater than they were during the Spring
  2003 semester
• Students enrolled from 31 states and 8 countries
  (from here to Timbuktu)
