  • Breeding and trial establishment
  • Data collection were done in progeny trials of P.
    kesiya, Eucalypts, Acacias, Melaleucas. 20
    families were collected to establish a
    demonstration plantation in Lamdong.
  • Developed grafting techniques for 30 clones of P.
    caribaea , P. massoniana and 30 clones of E.
    urophylla
  • Study on flowering and control pollination
  • Evaluated the flowering and seed production of P.
    caribaea
  • Performed pollen collection and germination test
    for P. merkusii and P. caribaea. Studied on
    effect of moisture content and storage condition.
  • Controlled pollination between P. massoniana, P.
    merkusii and P. caribaea, hybrid seed was
    collected

  • Created a library of amylase mutant using
    error-prone PCR and DNA shuffling.
  • Selected one amylase mutant with one amino acid
    substituted and the amylase activity increased
    twice compare to that of wild type.
  • Part 2 Production of recombinant proteins of
    Salmonella for vaccine and diagnostic
  • Cloned antigenic determinants of Salmonella as
    fliC1/2/3 fljB1/2, gm1/2/3 and sef14 genes of S.
    typhimurium and S. enteritidis
  • Expressed fljB, fljB2, gm1, gm2 genes encoding
    for flagella antigen of S. typhimurium and S.
