• Hospital Information System (HIS) tracks the
  patient throughout the hospital stay.
• Radiology Information System (RIS) tracks the
  examination through the department of radiology.
• Picture Archiving and Communications System (PAC)
  contains all the image-based information in the
  department of radiology.
