Crunchy provides accessibility software products
and complete software development lifecycle
solutions for fast verification, correction,
communication and reporting of Section 508
violations and standards. PageScreamer Express,
PageScreamer, PageScreamer Spider,
PageScreamer Central and WinScreamer help
organizations to develop long-term practices that
enhance accessibility for users with
disabilities.
An example accessible enterprise configuration is
an organization having PageScreamer Central
being securely administered by the main Section
508 Coordinator or the main CIO's office. The
individual bureaus or departments could then have
a copy of PageScreamer Spider for their IT
Managers and a copy of PageScreamer or
WinScreamer for each individual developer.
Verification Reports from PageScreamer ,
WinScreamer and/or PageScreamer Spider can be
uploaded to PageScreamer Central for
manipulation. PageScreamer Central allows the
Secretary of the Department or CIO of the
organization to take a granular look at the level
of compliance for thousands of websites at any
time in terms of compliance for the entire
organization. It also allows generation of an
enterprise-wide report that can be manipulated
via a database for submission to DOJ, Congress or
