Overview

• The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Program
  was developed to deploy critical medical assets
  in 12-hours or less to any U.S. location in the
  event of a terrorist attack or natural or
  technological disaster.
• The SNS contains pharmaceuticals, vaccines,
  medical supplies, and medical equipment used to
  augment depleted state and/or local resources.
