    according to the University of California

TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES
  • Temporary employees should be observed and
    coached as necessary by the supervisor or a
    designee and should have at least one evaluation
    annually.
  • Temporary personnel are covered by the agency for
    workers compensation policies and should be
    referred to the emergency room for injuries.

TEMPORARY EMPLOYEES
  • All agencies that UCLA Medical Center will
    contract with should verify that all appropriate
    personnel documentation is completed prior to
    referring an employee to a temporary position at
    UCLA Medical Center.
  • Should the employee be assigned prior to
    completing these forms, the temporary employee
    can do so during their first day of employment at
    UCLA Medical Center.
