Time and Place of Existence
  • The Australopithecus lived 3.75 million years ago
    in the eastern and southern parts of Africa.

Physical Appearance
  • The Australopithecus are believed to be our early
    direct ancestors.
  • Both male and female are known to be 120-170cm
    tall.Their weight was unknown.
  • The Australopithecus skull was similar to that
    of an ape because of the protruding eyebrow
    ridge, flat nose, and jutting jaw.

  • The Australopithecus did not have shelters that
    they created.
  • They lived outside and followed their food,
    migrating to follow their prey.
