3A typical vineyard
4The bells ring every day from the church at the
end of our street at 750 AM, 1150 AM and 650
PM. (We wont miss the 750 AM round.)
5The World War I Monument
World War I Monuments are common in the villages.
The rooster that sits atop these monuments is an
emblem of France. Quinns school is in the
background to the right of the monument.
6Place du Pont de Garonne
We crossed this place, at the end of the street,
many times a day bringing Quinn to and from
school in the morning, again in the afternoon, on
the way to the boulangerie, the boucherie, the
café

12The Vidourle
The Vidourle River runs through the middle of
Quissac. Feeding the ducks is a common activity
to use the left-overs from the daily baguette.
13The Vidourle
The month of October is known for rainfalls
capable of delivering several inches of
rain. Coincidentally, the French language
includes the word Vidourlade - a flood of the
Vidourle.

17The Bosc
The one-time location of Quissacs mill has
become the local version of the ol swimmin
hole. This rocky beach waterfall became a
daily destination during the month of June.
18Well definitely miss the view from the terrace!
