To The Bottom of The Waiting List

Flexibility Where Possible
  • Transportation

  • Siblings
  • The District Strives to Prevent Splitting of
    Siblings Between Two Schools
  • If One Sibling is Forced to an Overflow School,
All Siblings May Attend the Overflow School
  • Consistency
  • If Students are Forced to Attend an Overflow
    School, They May Remain

15
Strategic Portable PlacementElementary Schools
  • Sixty buildings are being freed by completion of
construction projects and must be moved
  • By the end of 2006, all campuses North of Loop
1604 will have maximum possible portable
    buildings as determined by Engineering
  • Additional portables being placed at campuses
just inside Loop 1604 with large, underutilized
core capacities Fox Run, Hidden Forest, Longs
Creek, Redland Oaks, Stahl, Thousand Oaks
  • These schools will be poised to receive future
overflow students as current overflow campuses
    reach capacity
  • Additional moves of portables that were not
    required are possible
