Lets take a look at a simple GIS
application Using ESRIs ArcGIS software. ? Get a
trial copy of ArcGIS and play around with it.

What GT pitfalls should I look for?
Dont feel like you are way behind your
neighbors. Dont try to do too much too
soon. Dont take the advice of just one
expert. Dont be oversold on hardware and
software. Dont be oversold on services and data
development. Dont try to do everything yourself
get help. Dont work in a vacuum collaborate
with others. Dont let funding limitations keep
you out of the game. Dont stop learning and
growing.
