    emailed to all GSC department reps by tomorrow.
  • Please review the revised constitution, which
    will be voted on at our next general meeting.

GSC vs. RGP Travel Grants
  • The Graduate School provides up to 300 for
    student travel to conferences. The funds are 11
    matching funds from your department and/or
    college. You need to have already received an
    award letter from your department and/or college
    specifying that they are providing travel funds

Ad-Hoc Committee Reports

Travel Grants Overhaul
  • Unfortunately, the new web-based travel grant
    application cannot be integrated into our website
    until during break, so continue with the current
    process.

HHMI Award Selection
  • The HHMI Award Selection Ad-Hoc Committee will
    work to distribute an estimated 20 HHMI Awards to
    graduate students for providing outstanding
    mentorship to undergraduate students.
  • Applicants must have published research with an
    undergraduate student in order to win the 500
    award.
  • Application Available December 1, 2008
  • Application Deadline February 1, 2009
