What is a Koala?

• A koala is a mammal which resembles a teddy
  bear. However, the koala is not really a
  bear. In fact, it is a relative of the kangaroo
  and a wombat. Koalas are marsupials, meaning
  that they carry their babies in a pouch.

• My name is Cassandra Scheffers. I am a junior at
  Western Michigan University, studying Elementary
