memorabilia provided by its patrons. Wall
artwork includes old license plates, photographs
of patrons children wearing Big Apple hats and
t-shirts, and concert posters even a few
celebrities have left their marks with pictures
and autographs.

patrons is one of Harlans favorite parts of his
job because, he says, he can develop a
relationship with them and make them return
customers. Customer care is more important than
the bottom line, Harlan jokes, which sometimes
gets me in trouble with my wife.
