can eat 600 mosquitoes in an hour?

toes. Bats have skin between their fingers that
makes the wings. Their wings are thin, wet, and

  • The meat eaters use echolocation to help them
    find their prey.

8
Behavior
  • They help their young by making homes for their
babies. So that means they help family.
  • They find a place to live. That means they want
to protect themselves and their family.
  • They are really not blood suckers, but they do
suck animals blood. They are really friendly
    creatures.

Behavior
For echolocation the bats make a sound that
bounces off of the insect and the bat will know
where the insect is.

Babies and Young
  • Bats have one baby at a time. So after they have
one baby bat they could get another one for
    another year.
  • The mother bat teaches their young.
  • They teach them how to fly.
  • They teach them how to hunt for their prey.

Interesting Facts

and every mammal has a tail and fur.

ideas Bats are not trying to attack humans. They
do not want to get in your hair. This bad
    information creates fears and problems.
  • Bats are nocturnal animals.
  • Some bats use something called echolocation to
help them find things and communicate. Small
    bats use echolocation.

12
More Interesting Facts
  • The largest bats wingspan is 6 feet.
  • Megabats do not use echolocation. They have
    great eyesight.
