• Prometheus angers the gods, so he is sentenced to
  be chained to a rock in the middle of the ocean
  where eagle will eat him alive over time.

• Hera nearly catches Z Io
• Z turns Io into cow
• H knows cow is Io, so she sends Argus to watch Io
• Hermes kills Argus upon Zs request frees Io
• Hera places eyes of Argus on peacock

• Zeus shot w/arrow by Aphrodite Cupid fell in
  love w/Europa
• Seduced by Zeus despite his disguise as a bull
• Zeus takes her to the island Crete she bears
  children for him judges of Hades

• Descended from 3 Cyclopes
• Blinded by Odysseus
• Poseidon angered, causing Odysseus trouble on his
  way home from the Trojan War

• Madly in love w/sea nymph
• Lived in Sicily had eye
• Galatea mocked him
• Sang love songs to her
• She never loved him she fell in love w/young
  prince, Acis
• Polyphemus killed him

Narcissus Flower

• Zeus created narcissus to help Hades capture
  Persephone carry her off to the Underworld
• She her maidens were gathering flowers in field
  saw narcissus
• She went to gather beautiful flower was
  captured by Hades

Narcissus and echo

• Narcissus falls in love w/own reflection in pond
• Women fall in love w/Narcissus for his beauty,
  but he dies staring at himself
• Echo also falls in love w/Narcissus, but can only
  repeat what he says
