NOTES FROM H.O.P.E. PARTICIPANTS
I found the HOPE course to be very beneficial.
It answered many of my questions and I believe
that this program will answer any questions that
I have in the future. I learned the basics of
home ownership through this program. Ms. Deborah
Johnson is a person who makes others feel welcome
and she is available to answer questions she also
encourages participants. Her attitude toward
program participants makes this process more
comfortable to be a part of. Takiya Barkley HOPE

I thank CHHEDs counselor for the time in
shearing her knowledge. With the information
CHHED has given me throughout these H.O.P.E.
sessions, I have a deeper respect for my credit
history, making timely payments and not falling
prey to predatory lenders. Cynthia White HOPE
Session1
I am really enjoying this class as I continue to
come, I learn more and more each day I went from
knowing a little about my credit to understanding
how important it is to have good credit and how
to improve it. I have learned to establish a
family budget and that focused on my needs vs.
wants. Purnell Seawright HOPE Session1

This class was very informative. CHHEDs
counselor had us write make a budget on paper and
that helped me to see what I actually spend
compared to what I make per month. This will
help me spend less on extras and concentrate on
saving money and applying the money toward
improving my credit. January Williams HOPE
