Jerusalem's Gates
2
The history of jerusalem is full of wars and
invasions because it is a precious jewel. In the
third millennium BC Jebusites fortify their city
and the military gates to protect it from the
successive attacks. Muslims were concerned with
the restoration of the gates of Jerusalem, thus
we found the leader Salah AL Din himself was
carrying stones during the large restoration
after the opening of Jerusalem.Followed by
Ottomans who concerned with the gates and walls
of Jerusalem . Jerusalem has eleven gates , only
seven are opened and used but the other are
closed. The history of most of the opened
gates, due to the time of the Ottoman Sultan
Suleiman Alqanoni , who built the great wall of
Jerusalem at the year 1542 AD .
