• Not found in some of the oldest Greek manuscripts
• There are nine Greek words used in the longer
  ending that are unique to Mark.
• References to tongues and handling snakes seen as
  a problem.

• It is found in all of the families of texts.
• Codex Vaticanus leaves a large blank space,
  indicating the scribes awareness of the longer
  ending.
• Previous chapter also has unique words.
• Tongues and snake prophecy fulfilled in Acts.
