Objective
  • Act as the sectors mouthpiece towards industry,
    politicians, authorities and media
  • Create meeting places to increase and spread
    information, strengthen relations between the
    suppliers, and create opportunities for growth

Budget program 2006 Mouthpiece
  • Industry discussions SAS is an active
    participant in a variety of activities
  • Clepa SAS actively participates in the working
    groups SIR, Training, Quality, SME and After
    Market. SAS will be assisting at Clepas General
    Assembly in Stockholm on 15th and16th June.
  • Coop. with other organisations SAS will continue
    their cooperation with BIL Sweden and will
    intensify contacts with the Assoc. of Swedish
    Engineering Industries, the Confed. Of Swedish
    Enterprise and the Federation of Private
    Enterprises
  • SAS Mälardalen SASMs activities will continue
    according to plan. Efforts are being made to
    involve other regions in the cooperation.
  • Media SAS continues to voice the suppliers
    opinions in the media.
  • Vehicle Manufacturers SAS will continue to
    establish regular contacts with the purchasing
    departments
  • The Vehicle Component The development of the
    magazine continues
  • Website SAS will increase the number of services
    on the website www.fkg.se during 2006
  • External conferences SAS will continue to spread
    information about the industry at conferences and
    seminars
  • Recall insurance SAS will proceed with the
    project, aiming at presenting proposals for
    insurance solutions by January 2006

    August in Gothenburg
  • IAA 2006 in Hannover SAS will organise a shared
    booth and seminars
  • Go Global project China, BMW, Mercedes Trucks,
    Korean Transplants and Russian automotive
    industry
  • Jama-Clepa 2007 in Dresden SAS will organise a
    shared booth
  • Elmia Subcontractor SAS will participate with a
    booth and possibly a meeting room for tier1 2
    3 in coop. with Elmia.
  • Supplier Catalogue will be published in time for
    IAA
  • Breakfast/evening meetings with members will
    take place in January and February, incl.
    meetings in Norway and Finland

    since 1994

  • The member companies can apply for funding from
    the programmes
  • The funding normally goes to the university or
    institute involved
  • The industry contributes in kind
  • Projects are decided in working groups where all
    key actors are represented
