What is a season?
  • A season is a major division of the year that is
    generally based on yearly periodic changes in
    weather. Most regions consider the four seasons
    to be winter, spring, summer, and fall.

  • Winter is the season with the shortest days and
    the lowest temperatures. It is the season with
    the most bitter cold weather, snow, and ice.
