- SINGAPORE ENVIRONMENT INSTITUTE
- Set up as the Centre for Environmental Training
(CET) in January 1993 - an internal training arm of the Singapore
Ministry of the Environment (ENV) - SEI became a training division of the National
Environment Agency (NEA) in July 2002 - help to fulfill NEAs mission by providing
quality environmental training so that
- NEA achieves operational effectiveness
- NEA contributes to global sustainable development
efforts

Co-operation Programme (SIDSTEC) - Launched in 1999
- Sets to provide training
- opportunities to 300 government
- officials from small-island
- developing states over five years
