1. Quran

• Muhammad (A. D. 570-632)
• Claimed Gabriel appeared to him revealed the
  Quran in heaven (AD 610)
• Quranic traditions collected standardized in a
  text within 20 years of Muhammads death (ie, AD
  652)
• About the same size as New Testament

• 2.62 Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and
  those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the
  Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in
  Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness,
  shall have their reward with their Lord on them

• As with Jesus, a lot of legends were invented
  about Muhammad after his death.
• Our information on Muhammad comes from a few 2nd
  hand sources that are preserved in 3rd-4th hand
  sources writing more than 200 years after
  Muhammad.

• Muslims are out to convert us. So, its natural
  to discuss the gospel with them.
• Many Muslims are fed up with Islam.
• Muslims are zealous for God, just the type of
  person you want in your church!

Call to Christian Jihad!

• And if I give all my possessions to feed the
  poor, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but
  do not have love, it profits me nothing (1 Cor
  133).
• Love your enemies and pray for those who
  persecute you (Matthew 544). Our holy war
  involves holiness.
