The Proposal

• We propose to develop a choose your own
  adventure audio book type software.
• We plan to create a game that allows the reader
  to hear a story and choose the path that it will
  go down.
• The game will be based on spatial sounds, and
  possible vibrations instead of visual graphics.

Multipurpose

• The choose your own adventure game can be both a
  teaching tool and a form of entertainment.
• There will be options for different texts, and
  therefore the comprehension level can be
  controlled.
• Also, the speed at which the text is read can be
  controlled for those who can process information
  faster than others.

Everything Already Exists

• The sound clips will be placed into the program
  in mp3 format.
• The existing sound technology is already
  extremely advanced.
• The interface can be through the keyboard, or
  other alternative input devices.

Interest Factor

• There will be different voices for each of the
  different characters in the story.
• At the end of a scene the player will be able to
  choose which direction to go.
• There will be music and sound effects that
  enhance the story line.
• If an undesirable outcome was chosen there will
  also be a previous choice button so that the
  player can go back.

Limitless

• Because there are so many paths that are possible
  there will be a high rate of re-playability for
  each story.
• Story lines of each adventure can have a wide
  variety, which leaves the opportunities
  limitless.
• This will span all age groups.
