  • Governed by a national youth executive council
  • Involves over 200 youth volunteers at the local,
    regional and national levels
  • Helps over 180 elementary schools and high
    schools across the country, coast-to-coast

SMARTS What do we do?
  • Promote science, technology, engineering and
    mathematics to Canadian youth, Grades 7-12
  • Have recognized that there is a need to improve
    the connection between youth and STEM
    opportunities
  • Connect Canadian students with science and each
    other
  • Help students get excited and involved with STEM
    through our innovative programs!

  • Looking for a math contest? Summer space program?
    Forensic science camp?
  • VECTOR is YSF Canadas central, online database
    for all the STEM programs, competitions and
    events in Canada.
  • You can search for STEM opportunities based on
    age, location, scientific interests, etc.
  • Anyone can use VECTOR and anyone can even add to
    it!
