Section IJewelry
SDFVOA

• Rule 4-1-6
• No jewelry during warm-ups
• Official tells the coach.
• Must be removed with no further penalty.
• If refuses to remove issue unsportsmanship red
  card

Section I..Uniform
SDFVOA

• Please read all rules concerning uniforms.
• SDFVOA interpretations
• Numbers must be readable.
• Under garments must be the same
• color as outer garment.
• (Undergarment may show at the neck
• and sleeve openings)
• Midriff may not be exposed.
• No changing of uniform in public view.
• Libero shirt must contrast in color.

Penalties for Jewelry Illegal Equipment
. (This includes body paint, magic marker,
sparkles, etc)

• If found prior to the start of the match
• - Request coach to have it removed.
• -No penalty if removed.
• -Unsportsmanship Red card if not.
• Start match with Point and
• Serve given.

Penalties for Jewelry Illegal Equipment

• If found after the start of the match either
  attempting to enter the game or already in the
  game
• Delay of game penalty
• Team time out
• If no time out is available
• then it is loss of rally
• point awarded to opponent

Section II Electronics Noisemakers

• Rule 5-2-1
• Officials may not use electronic devices
• to determine a call.
• Rule 1-8
• Organized bands may not play during a
• live ball.
• No one may use a noise maker at any time.

Section III..Line up Procedures

• Rule 7-1-2
• Line up must be submitted in serving order.
• Rosters line ups given to the umpire.
• Line ups put into the score book by the
  score
• keeper.
• Line ups double checked by the umpire.
• Umpire checks line ups on the court with

Section IV Back Row Attack Defined

• Rule 9-5-4
• It is illegal anytime for a back row player,
• on or in front of the attack line,
• to contact the ball when it is completely
• above the height of the net,
• and cause it to go over the net or be
• legally blocked by an opponent.
