Safety Equipment

  • Minimum 5 foot fence
  • 4 life rings are recommended for our pool size
  • 1 six foot spine board
  • 1 accessible first aid kit
  • An emergency phone or sign indicating location of
    accessible phone
  • Sign with rules and maximum occupancy
  • ESTIMATED COST 1500.00 - 2000.00

CF Requirements
  • Minimum CF Requirements (in addition to
    Municipal)
  • Notices to keep spectators back 6 ft from pool
  • The words DEEP AREA SHALLOW AREA at each
    end, NO DIVING the different depths
  • We also require a safety reaching pole
  • Chemical tests will be done a half hour before
    opening and every 2 hours the pool is opened
  • Standing Orders and daily activity and usage logs
    will be kept

  • Minimum 16 years of age
  • Must have an on deck guard and a Designated
    Officer also NLS trained, working at the same
    times
  • Be National Life Saving Society (NLS) and
    Standard First Aid with CPR trained
  • Must wear Lifeguard on their clothing
  • Hours of operation Sat Sun 1200 1700hrs
  • At a wage of 10.00 hr, the estimated cost is
    approx
  • 3000.00 for the season
