2 Corinthians 614-18

Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For
what do righteousness and wickedness have in
common? Or what fellowship can light have with
darkness? What harmony is there between Christ
and Belial? What does a believer have in common
with an unbeliever? What agreement is there
between the temple of God and idols? For we are
the temple of the living
4
God. As God has said "I will live with them and
walk among them, and I will be their God, and
they will be my people."   "Therefore come out
from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch
no unclean thing, and I will receive you."   "I
will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons
and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."

Matthew 713-14 Enter through the narrow gate.
For wide is the gate and broad is the road that
leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
But small is the gate and narrow the road that
leads to life, and only a few find it.
11
Matthew 721-23 Not everyone who says to Me,
Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven,
but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out
demons in Your name, and done many wonders in
Your name? And then I will declare to them, I
never knew you depart from Me, you who practice
lawlessness!

and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword
For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.

Galatians 67-9 Do not be deceived, God is not
mocked for whatever a man sows, that he will
also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of
the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the
Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for
in due season we shall reap if we do not lose
heart.

1 Corinthians 619-20 Or do you not know that
your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is
in you, whom you have from God, and you are not
your own? For you were bought at a price
therefore glorify God in your body and in your
spirit, which are Gods.
25
Proverbs 51-21
26
My son, pay attention to my wisdom, listen well
to my words of insight, that you may maintain
discretion and your lips may preserve knowledge.
For the lips of an adulteress drip honey, and her
speech is smoother than oil but in the end she
is bitter as gall, sharp as a double-edged sword.
Her feet go down to death her steps lead
straight to the grave. She gives no thought to
the way
27
of life her paths are crooked, but she knows it
not. Now then, my sons, listen to me do not turn
aside from what I say. Keep to a path far from
her, do not go near the door of her house, lest
you give your best strength to others and your
years to one who is cruel, lest strangers feast
on your wealth and your toil enrich another man's
house. At the end of your life you will groan,
when
28
your flesh and body are spent. You will say, "How
I hated discipline! How my heart spurned
correction! I would not obey my teachers or
listen to my instructors. I have come to the
brink of utter ruin in the midst of the whole
assembly." Drink water from your own cistern,
running water from your own well. Should your
springs overflow in the streets, your streams of
water in the
29
public squares? Let them be yours alone, never to
be shared with strangers. May your fountain be
blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your
youth. A loving doe, a graceful deermay her
breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be
captivated by her love. Why be captivated, my
son, by an adulteress? Why embrace the bosom of
another man's wife? For a man's
30
ways are in full view of the LORD, and he
examines all his paths.
31
Proverbs 620-29
32
My son, keep your father's commands and do not
forsake your mother's teaching.  Bind them upon
your heart forever fasten them around your neck.
When you walk, they will guide you when you
sleep, they will watch over you when you awake,
they will speak to you. For these commands are a
lamp, this teaching is a light, and the
corrections of discipline are the way to
33
life, keeping you from the immoral woman, from
the smooth tongue of the wayward wife. Do not
lust in your heart after her beauty or let her
captivate you with her eyes, for the prostitute
reduces you to a loaf of bread, and the
adulteress preys upon your very life. Can a man
scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being
burned? Can a man walk on hot coals without his
34
Proverbs 71-27
35
My son, keep my words and store up my commands
within you. Keep my commands and you will live
guard my teachings as the apple of your eye. Bind
them on your fingers write them on the tablet of
your heart. Say to wisdom, "You are my sister,"
and call understanding your kinsman they will
keep you from the adulteress, from the wayward
wife with her seductive
36
words. At the window of my house I looked out
through the lattice. I saw among the simple, I
noticed among the young men, a youth who lacked
judgment. He was going down the street near her
corner, walking along in the direction of her
house at twilight, as the day was fading, as the
dark of night set in. Then out came a woman to
meet him, dressed like a prostitute and
37
with crafty intent. (She is loud and defiant, her
feet never stay at home now in the street, now
in the squares, at every corner she lurks.) She
took hold of him and kissed him and with a brazen
face she said "I have fellowship offerings at
home today I fulfilled my vows. So I came out to
meet you I looked for you and have found you! I
have covered my bed
38
with colored linens from Egypt. I have perfumed
my bed with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon. Come,
let's drink deep of love till morning let's
enjoy ourselves with love! My husband is not at
home he has gone on a long journey. He took his
purse filled with money and will not be home till
full moon." With persuasive words she led him
astray she seduced him with her smooth talk.
39
All at once he followed her like an ox going to
the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose
till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird
darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost
him his life. Now then, my sons, listen to me
pay attention to what I say. Do not let your
heart turn to her ways or stray into her paths.
Many are the victims she has brought down her
slain are a
40
mighty throng. Her house is a highway to the
grave, leading down to the chambers of death.
