A silly poem
Once upon a time there lived a girl called Molly
Bess Her father was a banker and her mother a
baroness Nonetheless, Mollys life seemed
colourless Because every day she did nothing but
play chess
And one day Molly decided what to profess She
said I want to be a stewardess, Her parents
cried with bitterness This is madness And they
accused her of silliness
Her mother cried What have I done to deserve
this mess? I couldnt possibly ask for less!
Who could imagine my daughter end up a
stewardess Instead of a duchess or a
princess Have I not taught you how to play
chess? And how to walk with the best of
finesse? In the most expensive silk dress?
Ten years passed Molly became a woman full of
experience and was also fond of eating chips with
mayonnaise. Finally she ended up a successful
authoress And forgot all about turning into a
stewardess And to her mums and dads
happiness Miss Molly Bess was a great
success Dimitra Stamatoudaki

A silly poem
  • Once there was a teenage girl called Miss Molly
    Bess
  • Her father was a salesman, her mum a waitress
  • Miss Molly wasnt happy. She was in great stress
  • Because she had a test the fear of which she
    could not express
  • Next day in the test she had great success
  • She managed her mates and teacher to impress
  • Her brother who looked like the Es Es
  • Even called her a princess
  • Because of her progress
  • And mum gave her six pence
  • But she needed more to buy a dress
  • When she asked for it the answer was Yes
  • But she had to promise mum not to be careless
  • And clean her room because it was a mess
  • When Miss Molly Bess
  • Went to the shops to buy a red striped dress
  • That her figure would stress ,
  • She met an old school friend, named Tess
  • Hello, Tess. Its a surprise to see you in such
    finesse.
  • I remember you always wanted to be a poetess
  • But you work in a shop nonetheless
  • Yes, indeed , Tess had to confess
  • and first gave Molly her address.
  • It would have been reckless to become a poetess
  • And I was afraid I would end up penniless
  • Which would give me great unhappiness.
  • As for Miss Molly Bess, she wanted to be an
    actress
  • To have great success and the people to obsess .
  • But her parents refused to bless her and say yes
  • So she became an assistant just like Tess .

Once there was a girl called Molly Bess her
father was a baron, her mum a baroness. She was
treated like a princess, but her life was full
of loneliness. Her parents couldnt guess how
they had made her life a mess and that she
needed some caress. The only thing her mother
cared was how to impress and her father was busy
playing chess. - Mum, can I visit Tess? Asked
Molly Bess. -But her mother is a
waitress! cried out loud the baroness, Go and
wear your best dress, any minute now comes my
friend, the princess Yes ,mum, yes said Molly
Bess thinking that her parents were full of
silliness. She was in a state of unhappiness
when she thought I ll become a stewardess!
Its the best thing to do and I ll have no
address.. Ill disappear and cause them a lot of
stress to make them see that my life was a
mess. A year later a Molly Bess still had no
success and as anyone could guess, she had
filled her parents with loneliness. Natassa Skevi

Lets think everyone is an eye-witness. Lets
think that we observe and record what happens to
our world. There is chaos, there is
madness. Theres evil, there is bitterness.
A world filled with ness
Also, I see pettiness, I see emptiness. I see
weve got a tendency to neglectfulness. I record
coldness, I record firmness. I even see more
hopelessness
Everyone is chasing greatness, everyone cares
about fitness. Nothing exists but greediness So,
we say mind your own business.
When I dream, I dream of goodness. I dream of
people full of kindness a world without
aggressiveness Where we couldnt pass into
nothingness.
Providing that we stopped being nameless that
there was brightness and happiness. Providing
that consciousness and forgiveness returned and
replaced deceitfulness, Wouldnt we live in a
world without darkness?
So, start dreaming of friendliness, of a world
of progressiveness! Start having impulsiveness,
leave your narrow mindedness, and your
heartlessness!
Only this way, our world will be full of
positive words ending in ness! Eirine Simou

A silly poem
Once there was a little girl called Missy Molly
Bess. Her father was a doctor, her mom a
baroness. Missy Molly wasnt jolly, she was in
great distress and always tried to find ways to
escape from the press. Her parents did nothing,
but always overstress, that her room was a
terrible mess and that she couldnt keep it in
neatness. She was also always accused of
carelessness and silliness.
However, Missy Molly Bess wanted to be an
actress, to have great success and the people to
obsess. She also wanted to buy a tight dress To
stress her slimness, which she kept despite
eating fish with mayonnaise.
Missy Molly, nonetheless, was suffering from
loneliness, because not only did her parents
manage her to oppress, but they didnt also let
her go to her friends to play chess. So, her life
was colourless, in darkness.
A full year passed and Missy Molly Bess who was
thought to be full of silliness ended up a famous
actress and she managed everybody to impress she
had real finesse!
