Tennis Ball Launch

• Uses a Bear Archery Compound Bow
• Device uses the weight of the water (potential
  energy) to pull the bow string back

• Pulleys are used to gain a mechanical advantage

Closer look at the launching device

• Since using a compound bow, a plunger end was
  needed to uniformly transfer the power of the bow
  to the tennis ball

• A custom end was created which can fit onto the
  arrow

Obstacle Course

• Using two nozzles to complete course
• Smaller diameter nozzle will be used to knock
  over the soda can and extinguish the tiki torch
• Larger diameter nozzle will be used to roll the
  2-liter bottle

• A ball-bearing mechanism is used to rotate the
  nozzles to horizontally
• The device was attached to the frame using straps
  which will allow vertical rotation
