When it rains it rainsMumbai .. several
hundred kilometres north, received in one 24 hour
period in July, 2005, 944mm .. a World Record

Junior School Boarders .. there are 600
students, Prep St. 12, and about 115 boarders

For Principal, Mrs. Roy, the school has been her
lifetime work .. starting from one room to the
amazing terra cotta style facility that continues
to develop today
I was introduced to the school in 2000 by former
teaching colleague, Dorothy Volk .. a debt I can
never repay.
Every trip (and there have been five so far, to
Aug. 2005) .. something new .. Buildings,
Programs .. Its called .. progress.

Why Pallikoodam? Mrs. Roy stated a desire to see
the students take advantage of their 6 lane, 25m
pool .. enhance their swimming and life saving
skills .. after my first visit, and partly in
response to my comments, they built a roof over
the pool .. an amazing addition that maximises
usage.

(Pairs) Beep Test .. the students accept the
challenge of new ideas, and compete strongly for
House and School Teams
Each year we have taken kick boards, goggles,
flippers, T-shirts, medallions, resuscitation
Annies .. a whole range of things to enhance the
programs of the school .. even a Beep Test in
2005. NWA prepares the Swimming Gala (Carnival)
Program each year .. every event has had multiple
new records since our first trip in 2003 we
introduced IMs.
