  Dignity of Nations Equality, Competition and
  Honor in East Asian Nationalism ( ed. By Sechin
  Y. S. Chien and John Fitzgerald, Hong Kong
  University Press). The book argues that everyday
  struggles for dignity and equality in the states
  of East Asia provide much of the impetus driving
  East Asian nationalism. The historical grievance
  in each country is structured in to the politics
  of the region and into its international
  relations.
• A special issue (Dec. 2004) in A Journal for
  Philosophical Study of Public Affairs focuses on
  the popular sovereignty and Constitutionalism.
