Time is the capital of life
A gift from the Creator and its proper use will
determine our outcome for eternity.

and see what will happen, but grant us the
determination to make the right things happen."
  • Jalaluddin Rumi
  • "There are two blessings that most delude people,
    health and free time.
  • Prophet Muhammad (saw)

6
Start Now .. DO IT - NASA
  • Time is free - but it's priceless.
  • You can't own it - but you can use it.
  • You can't keep it - but you can spend it.
  • Once you've lost it - you can never get it back.

7
Making a personal Statement
  • We seem to be too occupied
  • .. all that is necessary for evil to triumph is
for good people to do nothing.
  • Can not be selfish, uncaring or indifferent.
  • If we are not part of the solution, by our
apathy, we could be part of the problem itself
  • Edmund Burke - British Statesman

8
Affecting the world you live in
  • We all know what we want from others and from
    life.
  • Instinct of Taking !
  • Old Man the Khalifa
  • Do we also want the same for others ?

9
Do not wait ..
  • "He who waits to do a great deal of good at once
    will never do anything."
  • Samuel Johnson
  • "If you wait until you can do everything for
everybody instead of something for somebody,
you'll end up not doing anything for anybody
  • Malcom Bane

  • the best of deeds are those that are done
    consistently, though little by little",
  • The Holy Prophet (pbuh)
  • Lizard and Fire of Ibrahim

  • Crisis-Maker
  • finds problem with everything
  • Over-Doer
  • taking on too many tasks and thus not being able

You are what you are because
  • Natural and physical make up
  • Habit - continual repetition of certain acts
  • leads to the emergence of a certain disposition.
  • Practice and conscious effort
  • If continued long enough will eventually lead to
    the formation of a disposition.

13
More is Less !
  • Wider freeways but narrower viewpoints
  • More information, but less  knowledge
  • We have more degrees, but less sense
  • We've conquered outer space, but not inner space
  • We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the  soul
  • We've split the atom, but not our prejudice
  • This is a land of
  • fast foods and slow digestion
  • two  incomes, but more divorces
  • of fancier houses, but broken homes.
  • disposable diapers as well as throwaway morality.

14
Be the best before you desire the best
  • ????? ????????? ????????? ??????????
    ????????????? ????????? ???? ?????? ???????????
  •
  • We all want the best for ourselves
  • Society of Instant Gratification
  •  Those who have faith and do righteous deeds
  • They are the best of creatures.
  • (Al-Bayyinah 987)

15
Self Esteem
  • How you feel about yourself is self-esteem.
  • It is your perception of how you are doing in the
    world.
  • Self-esteem may go up or down
  • Get an "A" on a test and you feel great, but if
you fail you feel terrible. Self-esteem is
    changeable.

16
Self-worth
  • Self-worth is what you are born with.
  • As one of the creations of the universe you are
worthwhile and have value, which cannot be taken
    from you.
  • You cant lose it, but you can lose sight of it.
  • You can forget your value.

17

  • ?????? ????????? ???????????? ??? ????????
    ?????????
  • Al-Tin 954

Every human being is valuable.  Because Allah
created all of them and He created in the best
mold and shape
19
Strength of character and self-respect
  • Imam al-Baqir (A)
  • God has bestowed on the believer three qualities
  • honor in this world and the Hereafter
  • salvation in both the worlds,
  • fear of him in the hearts of the oppressors.
  • Whoever fears God, He will make all things fear
    him

20
We crave Success
  • Success on the outside is created by success on
    the inside
  • The best way to impact your future is to make the
    best of the present
  • 7 Generations !!

21
Six Wishes
  • Imam Ali a said "A man came to the Prophet s
and asked him to teach him an action so that both
    Allah, the Exalted, and people
  • would love him,
  • his wealth would increase,
  • his body would be healthy,
  • his life time would last long
  • he would be raised with him (the Prophet).
  • Then, he s said 'These are six traits which
    need six qualities
  • 99 ?

22
Six Solutions
  • If you want Allah to love you, be afraid of Him
    and guard yourself against sin.
  • If you want people to love you, be benevolent to
them and decline what they have in their hands.
  • If you want Allah to increase your wealth, then
    give alms.

23
  • If you want Allah to make your body healthy, pay
    charity more frequently.
  • If you want Allah to prolong your lifetime, then
    have regard for your kinship.
  • And, if you want Allah to raise you with me, then
do prolong your prostrations before Allah, the
    One, the Dominator.'"
  • Safinat-uI-Bihar, vol. 1, p. 599

  • "Whoever is pleased with his good actions and
displeased with his bad actions is a faithful.
  • This is the chassis of the vehicle for the
    journey of the life

25
Being created in the best of molds - you have a
choice
  • Physical make-up produces certain dispositions
  • Not compelled to abide by the dictates of your
    physical make-up.
  • To overcome the dictates of physical nature you
can acquire the disposition of choice CONCEPT
    OF EQ.

26
  • From al-Husayn the son of 'Ali to Habib ibn
    Muzahir, a scholar and jurist,
  • O Habib! You are aware of my relation to the
Messenger of Allah and know me better than
others. You are a man of integrity and a free
man. Don't hold yourself back from coming to my
assistance. May the Messenger of Allah reward you
    on the Day of Judgement!"

27
The Bearers of the Standard will come
  • "The one who will hold it is on his way."
  • He said, "The bearer of this standard is the man
    who rides towards us.

28
Habib Recites
  • Even though I have become old and feeble,
whenever I look at you, youth begins to flow in
    my veins once again.
  • "Who is that?"
  • She was told. "It is Habib ibn Muzahir."

29
A Special Salutation
  • She said, "Offer him my salutations." When her
salutations were offered to Habib, he was shaken
with the grief and the sorrow at her impending
    loss.
  • "Ah! The sorrow of loss! Who is Habib for the
Lady Zaynab to offer him her salutation?"
