investment bridging the Digital Divide in Schools
by providing - ICT hardware software
- ICT curriculum and integration in subject areas
- Equal access and opportunity to students to learn
about ICT with ICT - Training teachers (INSET/Pre-Service)
- Connectivity (which remains a primary challenge)
24Conclusion
- Building ICT Capacity in schools is fraught with
challenges in a developing country like Malaysia. - Policy and practice has a strong relationship in
building this capacity. - It is relatively easy to roll-out and build ICT
infrastructure, but training is the key to
building ICT culture in schools. - Innovation and creativity are essential for the
future of Malaysian schools. - E-learning, Lifelong learning are essential for
the future
