Purpose

• To commemorate founding of The Links,
  Incorporated
• To uplift one of the basic tenets of the
  organization friendship.
• To keep the spirit of friendship alive and at the
  forefront of our actions and deeds.

November Declared National Friendship Month

• Ask Alumni and charter members to share early
  recollections of The Links, Incorporated at a
  chapter meeting or special occasion.
• Send a card or a note to an infirmed member or a
  member on leave of absence just to let her know
  shes thought about and missed.
• Call a sister Link that you would like to know
  better and invite her to lunch.

November Declared National Friendship Month

• Attend a worship service as members of the
  chapter.
• Host an Its everybodys birthday party and
  exchange secret pal gifts.
• Make plans for a friendship celebration (formal
  or informal), with a neighboring chapter.

November Declared National Friendship Month

• Exchange white roses at a chapter meeting, each
  member bringing one.
• Tell your chapter president, or past presidents,
  how much you love and appreciate all of their
  hard work
• Continue formal observances and/or consider
  establishing one for 2007.
