Our History

• www.4commons.com is the product of inspiration.
  Jamie Corley, founder, was frustrated that the
  college admissions process seemed to focus solely
  on GPA, class rank, and test scores. As an
  active student leader, Corley felt that her
  grades, although strong, were not the most
  important part of her high school career. She
  wanted to show admissions offices who she really
  wasa dynamic, passionate and creative student.
  She discussed the idea with a few friends in
  college, all of whom felt that they did not have
  an ample opportunity to present themselves to the
  world of college admissions. As an Admissions
  Ambassador at SMU for two years, Corley also
  learned that admissions counselors are always
  looking for ways to get to know prospective
