  • -Brits seized John Hancocks vessel, claiming
    he had smuggled wine.
  • -The seizure triggered Riots in Boston
  • -The Riots triggered the British to place
    4,000 troops in Boston.

    wounded.

    of British rules, taxes, infringement of rights.
  • Loyalist Clinging to English ideals. Most had
    been crown-appointed officials in the colonies.
  • These ideologies would lead to fissures in
    familys, and other personal relationships (Ben
    and William Franklin)

  • - Please begin with then French and Indian War
    and go to the Declaration of Independence.
  • - After you complete the timeline, please
    answer the following prompt.
  • Of all the events that led to the
    Revolutionary War, which had the biggest impact
    on the creation of the Declaration of
    Independence. Why? If that event had not have
    happened, do you still believe the colonists
    would have pushed for independence? Why or why
    not?
