The Rich Fool

• Was driven by dreams and goals for this life only
• Lost sight of his souls need of God
• Lost sight of the amount of time he might have to
  prepare to meet God
• Put the most important matters aside
• Used his time for only the life of earth comforts
  and pleasures
• When is it right to die and meet God?

The Blinding Power of Covetousness

• Bigger Barns and More Stuff
• Does it rob you of true focus?
• Does it change your affections?
• Does it change your priorities?
• Does it change your mission in life?
• Tests
• Where is commitment to God in this?
• Where is thankfulness to God in this?
• Where is confession of Christ in this?

• When you know what life is about
• And you know it is not about things
• When you are careful to be ready to confess Jesus
  Christ TODAY
• When you are careful to be ready to meet God
  today
• When you know what to value most
• When you know when those values are being tested
  and you work hard to build larger areas in your
  heart to store spiritual treasures
